How to Register to Vote Before the New Jersey Primary

Important: Are you registered to vote in New Jersey's upcoming June 7 presidential primary, as well as the Nov. 8 presidential election?

The deadline to register is May 17 for the June 7 primary election in New Jersey.

And the deadline to register for the Nov. 8 general election is Oct. 18.

You must be a U.S. citizen to vote, and live in the county in which you are registering for 30 days. A person may register to vote at age 17, but must be 18 to cast a ballot.

To register to vote, go to this page and select the New Jersey county in which you live. Fill out the form and mail it in to the address on the form (no postage necessary). If your voter application is accepted, you will be notified by your county. Voila!
